KMFFA Mision Statement |
Strength through united action, guided by information and integrity, is the hallmark of the Knox Metro Firefighters Association (KMFFA). Believing such unity is essential for the mutual protection and advancement of the interest and general welfare of our members. We have formed this Association for the following reasons:

1. To secure just compensation for our services and equitable settlements of our grievances and thereby promoting job satisfaction and retention; |

2. To promote the establishment of just, reasonable, and safe working conditions; |
| |
3. To provide reasonable support to members in times of need; |
| |
4. To assure that members of KMFFA have access to the training, experiences, and tools needed to do their jobs well; |
| |
5. To promote harmonious relations between our members and our employer with the spirit of trust and respect; |
| |
6. To encourage and support our members in their involvement in our community as representatives of KMFFA; |
| |
7. To cultivate friendship and fellowship among all our members. |

It is our future aspiration to actively seek opportunities for involvement and recognition in our community. We will continue to pursue the growth, achievement and success of our organization and its members. |
